For the past ten years, Dr. Jim Ellis has been a dentist. The oldest of five children, he spent his childhood in Orem, Utah. He is a member the LDS church, and served a mission in Florida. After that, he enrolled at Brigham Young University (BYU). He graduated from Virginia Commonwealth University in Richmond, Virginia, in 2004 after completing his dental education. He returned to Utah in 2004 to open a dental practice and start a family.

Dr. Ellis married Tiffany in his second year at BYU. This was his true love. They have been together for fifteen years. Tiffany was a registered nurse when they were married, and despite staying at home to be a full-time mother, she has kept her license ever since.


Jim and Tiffany are the parents of 5 wonderful kids, who range in age from 2 to 14 years old. They call Morgan, Utah their home and love to spend time in the mountains. Their main pastime is attending all of their children’s activities. They enjoy running, yachting, and skiing. They have participated in many races, including the Ogden full- and half-marathon.
